Cameron Kirk Johnson, 32, of Bagley, MN, formerly of Fertile, MN, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his home.

Cameron was born on October 1, 1991, to Daniel Johnson and Arlene Ehlert in Roseau, MN. Due to his health issues, the family moved to Faribault and then to Fertile, MN, where Cam grew up. He graduated from High School in 2009. Cam moved to Wheatland, WY to live with his brother and went to college for a year and worked at Culligan’s. He came back to Minnesota and moved to Crookston where he worked in the electronics department at Walmart. He later moved to Bagley, MN to be with family.

Cam was a very genuine and caring person. A very likable guy, he wasn’t bashful and could talk to anybody and made friends wherever he went. He loved to play guitar and was a music fanatic, especially for classic rock. He had a memory for movies and a great sense of humor. Cam was very intelligent, loved reading, and was a very talented writer, even writing for the school newspaper in High School. He loved animals and working with them with his family. He enjoyed hunting. He will be missed by those who loved him.

Cameron is survived by his father, Dan (Loretta) Johnson; his brother, Carl Eggert; his stepfather, Kurt Leiser; his grandparents, Don and Margie Johnson, and Jenette Ehlert; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Leiser; and his grandfather, Gilbert Ehlert.
