Bruce A. Lindgren, 75, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, formerly of Bagley, Minnesota died on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Allina Mercy Medical Center in Coon Rapids, MN.

Bruce was born on April 25, 1947 in Bagley, MN to Fredrick “Swede” and Anna (Krans) Lindgren. He grew up in Bagley and graduated from Bagley High School 1965. Bruce went on to attend the University of Minnesota from 1968 to 1970.

Bruce married the love of his life, Irene Tangjerd, on June 8th, 1968 at Faith Lutheran in Bagley, MN. Together they made a loving home and family.

Bruce worked for United Parcel Service (UPS) for 35 years, retiring in 2002. Over the last 10 years he worked as a bookkeeper for Partners Woodcraft.

Bruce was a jack of all trades including electrical, plumbing, surveying, CAD drafting, and could build anything from homes to furniture. He also enjoyed planning trips and traveling with his family. They were his 1st passion; architecture was his 2nd- especially Frank Lloyd Wright. His 3rd was politics.

He is survived by spouse, Irene Lindgren of Coon Rapids MN; his children, Jennifer (Keven) Syverson of River Falls WI, and Jeffrey (Keely) Lindgren, Brooklyn Park, MN; his grandchildren, Alaina, Jared, Erin & Theo Syverson and John, Aidan, Owen & Audree Lindgren; his brothers, Douglas (Colleen) Lindgren of Bagley MN and Marc Lindgren of Fosston, MN; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick “Swede” Lindgren and mother, Anna Lindgren Balik; and his son, John Lindgren and infant sons James & Joshua Lindgren.
