Brock Austin Davis

Brock Austin Davis, aged 43, of Centerville, MN, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2025. This sudden loss has left many in profound shock and sadness. Over time, these feelings of sorrow will begin to fade, just like one of Brock’s homemade tie-dye shirts, and will be replaced by the cherished memories we hold of Brock throughout our lives.

Brock was born in Muskegon, MI, to John and Maggie Davis. He graduated from Cedarburg High School and subsequently attended the University of Minnesota, where he earned a degree in Finance. During his time at the University, Brock met Christy, the love of his life. The couple married in 2009 and embarked on numerous adventures before eventually settling in Centerville to raise their family. Brock and Christy welcomed the addition of their two children, Summer and Cole, who were the center of his world.

Brock cherished being a husband and father, with his family as his top priority. He and Christy were inseparable. Summer and Cole enjoyed their playful dad, whether at the driving range or playing basketball. During vacations, they loved building sandcastles and burying themselves in the sand.

Brock had many wonderful attributes. He was down to earth, fun-loving, and caring. He was a child at heart and would never turn down an opportunity to have some fun. He loved to travel and go on adventures with his family. He treasured spending weekends at the family cabin, relaxing, boating and spending time around the campfire.

Many would consider Brock a pizza connoisseur. He had a love of all thing’s pepperoni. He had a birthday tradition returning to Cedarburg for Tomaso’s pizza every year. Truly he just loved food and how it can bring people together. He expressed his love through cooking and sharing that with his family and friends. Gathering around the kitchen island with food and drink, sharing stories and building memories.

When you close your eyes and think of Brock, many will see his smiling face wearing a bandana, tie-dye shirt and ripped jeans. Maybe with a slice of pepperoni pizza, mixing some margaritas, hugging Christy, playing games with Summer and Cole, carrying Maui the family dog like a baby, dropping some movie quote references or talking sports. Those memories are how he wants to be remembered.

Survived by spouse Christy Davis, children Summer and Cole Davis, parents John and Maggie Davis, sister Andrea Gransee (Davis), nieces & nephews Van, Celeste, Drake, Reese, Kipton and Hayes, in-laws Bryce Schreter, Tonya and Cory Comstock. Dog Maui and many more family members and amazing friends.
