Brian is survived by his parents, Lois and Bub Nickerson, sister, Tammy White (Tony) niece, Maria White (Spencer) nephew, Jackson White, great nephews, Bow and Sawyer, step-daughter Jossalin, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many good friends.

A Caretaker of many

Brian passed away peacefully on April 27th, at home.

He grew up in Forest Lake, MN and spent most of his adult life in Cloquet where he met his former wife and gained a step daughter. He furthered his education at the Fond du Lac Community College. Brian moved to Cambridge in 2025 and began making new friends.

Brian's generous personality guided him to a variety of work, from a volunteer driver, food industry, cleaning and maintenance to personal care giver.

Brian enjoyed many years working as a PCA, his heart was genuine and non discriminatory. His compassion for people went beyond a paycheck. He was the first to come to a friends rescue when asked for help, in fact, you didn't have to ask, Brian would notice and just be there. Brian had ambition, creativeness and willingness to learn. He was fearless and adventurous to try new jobs. When he saw something that needed cleaning or fixing he would take action.

Brian loved repairing vehicles. The garage was his sanctuary where his passion and dedication to extending the life of vehicles took place. He especially enjoyed Toyotas. Brian enjoyed riding his E bike. He looked forward to warmer weather and trail riding.

His most recent quest was volunteering on Thursdays at Shalom thrift shop. Organizing the treasures, and of course, getting first pick was a guaranteed happy day!
