About Brenda

Brenda Leah Landin, 80, of Bagley, Minnesota died on Friday, June 9, 2023, at the First Care Hospital in Fosston, MN.

Brenda was born on September 12, 1942, to Robert and Eleanor (Griffis) Sandhoff. She was raised by her grandparents, William and Josie Griffis. She moved with her grandparents to Bagley where she attended school.

After high school, she moved to the cities where she worked as a cashier at various places. Brenda moved to California in 1980, to be with her grandma, Josie. In 1996, she moved to Bloomington where she lived until her health started to fail. Her daughter Connie took care of her in her last years. She loved her dog, Charlie.

Brenda is survived by her two daughters – Connie Kortan of Bagley, MN and Janny Lopez of Thief River Falls, MN

Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her and her sister-Sharon Backlin.
