Proud dad, good friend, and a bright light
Brandon Campbell
Campbell, Brandon, age 50, of Telluride, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 31, 2022. He was a graduate of Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan and received his BS from University of Colorado, Boulder. While at college he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He spent most of his career in digital marketing and as a consultant, working for many companies and clients along the way --the longest of them being Publicis Sapient.
Brandon’s talents and interests were many. He was an avid downhill skier, mountain and road cycler and enjoyed cooking, music, reading and discussing books, long walks and travelling. A devoted Michigan and CU football fan, he rarely missed an opportunity to see a game.
Most valued by Brandon were his family and friendships. His warm, curious and engaging personality led to many life-long relationships not bound by geography. He will be remembered as someone who could engage people and capture their personal stories, be it a close friend or the casual acquaintance. Aside from his laughter and ability to bring that out in others, he will be remembered for his spontaneity and lightness, of what fun and adventure could look like when you weave it into your everyday life. He will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jon and Barbara Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dr. Suzanne Hazen; son, Jackson Everett Campbell; brother, Skot Campbell, and his wife Carrie of Austin, Texas; sister, Candice Campbell, of Paris, France; brother, Denis Brown and his husband Brian, of Fenton, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
