life story
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Bradley Brockel. He rode into heaven on Sunday, October 6th at 12:20 PM. Brad was an amazing and loving father, son, brother, uncle, life partner and friend to so many.
Bradley was born in Mobridge, South Dakota on April 15th, 1972 to his loving parents Eugene and Nancy (Ford) Brockel. He grew up and graduated as a Mobridge Tiger in 1990. He lettered in football and wrestling during his career there, and played baseball/softball in his adult life. Sports were a passion for which he passed onto his children. At the age of 12, he purchased his first motorcycle which was an old dirt bike from a friend in the neighborhood, and from then on you could never get him off of it. He became an avid rider and Harley enthusiast as the years went on. He went to Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD to be a Radiological Technician for one year before continuing on to North Memorial in Robbinsdale, MN to finish his education. He was currently employed through Allina Health and Mercy Hospital in Anoka.
He is survived by his three sons, Pierce, Brennan, and Zakary, his parents Eugene and Nancy, his lifetime partner, Kelly and her children Jake and Jayden; his siblings Jeannine (Mario) Redlegs, and Brett (Mariah) Brockel; his nieces Madysen (Sam) Plombon, Makinley Heil, Elodie and Emmalyn Brockel; as well as his nephews, Jacksen Heil and Emmett Brockel.
His community of friends will continue to carry on his motorcycling legacy.
