Bonnie Bell Hable (Smith)

March 19, 1963 – April 12, 2026

Forest Lake, MN, USA

Age 63, passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2026. She was born on March 19, 1963, and grew up in East St. Paul, later making her home in Forest Lake. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Richard Smith; her sisters, Susan Smith and Debbie Smith; and her brother, Michael Smith. She is survived by her brother Thomas Smith, her daughter Bonnie Hable (Byron Kringle); her beloved grandson, Jacob Sanchez; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Bonnie absolutely adored her grandson, Jacob, and loved him more than life itself. Her greatest joy in life was being his grandma. She shared a strong and loving bond with her daughter Bonnie and her two nieces Maggie and Tanya. Through laughter, stubbornness, and everything in between, their connection was unbreakable.

Bonnie aka peanut also shared an especially close bond with her brother Tom as they were the last of their kin. Previously living together in Nevada, they continued to speak daily and support one another through everything. Their relationship was filled with love, laughter and special humor that was was like no other.

Bonnie also held a special place in her heart for her son-in-law, Byron, whom she truly cherished and welcomed as one of her own.

Bonnie may have had one biological daughter, but her love extended far beyond that. She had many who she loved like daughters and countless others who saw her as a mother and grandmother. She embraced many who lovingly called her “Granny” and “Great Auntie,” roles she wore with pride and joy.

Bonnie had a deep love for life and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by family and friends. She loved motorcycle rides, camping shenanigans with the girls and all the grandbabies, spending time at the VFW with friends, and sharing laughter wherever she went. Bonnie had a vibrant personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a big heart that touched many lives. Bonnie’s laughter, warmth, and loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Please join us at her celebration of life on Friday, April 24th from 4pm - 8pm. All motorcycles are welcome as she will be taking her last ride with her favorite rider Tracy Douglas.
