Bev was born on January 20, 1944, in Brooks, MN. She lived in Bagley, MN, until she married her husband, Hank, of 62 years. They moved to St. Paul where she graduated from St. Paul Central High School. Bev and Hank bought their home in Circle Pines, MN, in 1963, where they raised their family and she lived for the remainder of her life.

Bev's greatest love in life was her family and friends. She enjoyed hosting many holidays where everyone was welcomed. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed listening to the MN Twins and watching the MN Vikings. She was passionate about all God's creatures and would rescue any abandoned animals. She was an artist, taught ceramics and cake decorating, enjoyed crafting and sharing her gift of quilting. She taught Sunday school, catechism, and was a Girl Scout leader. She loved the outdoors so much that she and Hank purchased a seasonal campsite where many family and friends enjoyed weekends full of love, laughter, and campfires. She was an arm-wrestling champion, enjoyed rope-pulling competitions, playing softball, and loved competition in general. She also dabbled in slots and bingo!

Bev had inner strength that allowed her to support many people. She also had great physical strength and was not afraid to let you know it. If you ever received a hug, you surely felt her love. Her compassionate side always shined as she helped anyone in need. She volunteered many hours at the Free Store with the Little Sisters of the Poor and the House of Charity.

Bev wanted us to celebrate her life. To honor her, we will host an open house celebration from 1-4pm, with a lunch style buffet, on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials which will be donated to Our Lady of Peace, where Bev was lovingly cared for during her final days. However, your presence is most important.
