Beverly Jean Mills (Southwick)

Beverly grew up in the Mankato area of Minnesota. She later moved to Mora, then Cambridge, and finally to the Twin Cities. At the end of her life, she resided at Park River Estates Care Center in Coon Rapids.

Early in her life, Beverly attended secretarial school after high school. She worked in a variety of office positions and enjoyed that work for many years. She later worked as a cashier at a Superette owned by church friends, where she enjoyed serving people and taking care of the customers.

Later in life, Beverly pursued additional education and began working for the Isanti County Veterans Administration office. She especially enjoyed helping veterans and their families receive the benefits they were entitled to. She was always deeply thankful for their service to our country, which meant a great deal to her.

Most importantly, Beverly was passionate about her faith in Jesus and shared that faith with her family. She was full of love and expressed it through amazing acts of service. Her biggest mission was to help everyone in her family. She showed them all unconditional love.

Beverly Jean Mills (Southwick) was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Nellie Southwick. She is survived by her children, Pamela Youngquist, Dale Youngquist, Lisa (Mills) Sutherland & Martin; grandchildren, Sarah (Flynn Raber) Langenbau, Daniel Youngquist, Noah Sutherland, Myka (Sutherland) Hudak & Aaron; and Liliana (Sutherland) Abler & Shea; and great-grandchildren, Imagine Youngquist; Adeline Youngquist; Hudson Hudak; and Blakely Hudak.

Beverly is cherished and will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
