life story

Beverly "Bev" Seifert, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, in her lifelong hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota. Born on June 7, 1941, to Ben and Agnes LaValle, Bev graduated from St. Luke’s School and Our Lady of Peace High School. She was a woman of deep roots growing up in a carriage house on Summit Avenue and raising her five children just a couple of miles away. Always a worker, Bev enjoyed her job as a bookkeeper at Village Travel. She was a familiar face as a cashier at numerous local estate sales and her own annual garage sale. This led to an extensive antique collection, each piece reflecting her appreciation for the past. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Peter Seifert, and her daughter, Amy Roberto (survived by husband Sam). Survived by her close sister Cathy McCrum (Robert). She leaves behind a legacy in her surviving children: Ann (Dave) McMonagle; Michael (Teresa) Seifert; Gregory (Sara) Seifert; and David (Christina) Seifert. She is also remembered fondly by her 8 grandchildren, extended family members as well as friends from Wellesley Avenue and Nisswa. A Celebration of Life will be held at DeGidio's Banquet Room, 425 7th St W, St. Paul, MN, on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
