Beverley Jane Cooper Boyer, 83, of Bemidji, MN died Monday, December 6, 2021 at Neilson Place in Bemidji, MN.

Bev was born March 27, 1938 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of George and Clara (Strong) Cooper. She attended Northern Elementary School and Bemidji High School, graduating in 1956. She was a member of the orchestra and a National Honor Society member. She attended Oak Hills Bible Institute graduating from there in 1959.

She married Max Boyer in 1958 in Bemidji. They lived in various other places, settling in Bemidji in 1966. She was a stay at home mom until beginning to work at Bemidji State University in 1967. She worked in various offices at the college until her retirement in 2000.

She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church and served in various capacities there as a Sunday School teacher, youth worker and musician. Her retirement years were spent doing volunteer work for several organizations including hospice and North Country Regional Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Max Boyer, children Cindy (Keith) Peterson of Zap, ND, Chad (Joan) Boyer of Grand Forks, ND, Craig (Wendy) Boyer of Kalispell, MT, and Corey (Chantel) Boyer of Becker, MN, 11 grandchildren Missy, Matt, Amy, Jack, Sam, Heather, Lex, Logan, Isaac, Riley, and Micah, 9 great grandchildren and two great great granchildren, sisters, Shirley Sutherland of Minneapolis, Bernice (George) McNeely of Dallas, TX, Lorraine Harmon of Spokane, WA,

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Carl and Kenneth Cooper and a sister Val Rice.

A Memorial services will be held in the spring of 2022.

Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.
