In Loving Memory of Betty A Franz

At age of 92, Betty was called home to her Lord. Betty died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Milwaukee WI, the daughter of Edward and Florence Weileder and beloved stepfather Edwin Hellmich.

Betty is preceded in death by Mel, her husband of 36 years, and sibling Ken (Betty), Edward (USA-Belgium, 1944), Phyllis (Mike). She is survived by her children Craig (Linda), Wendy, Shelly (Walt), Mark (Pam), 7 grandchildren (spouses), 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Together Betty and Mel shared a life of love, laughter, and joy.

Betty also enjoyed her 30+ years as Controller of Traffic and Parking Control Co. Inc (TAPCO) in Milwaukee, WI.

She loved entertaining friends and family. A special treat was playing cards, Mexican Train, and watching the Packer-Viking football games at Lee Square with her Minnesota friends, which she did until her 91st year.

Betty leaves us with beautiful memories and much gratitude for the love and joy she brought to our lives. We have been truly blessed.

A celebration of life will be held. Date yet to be determined. A spring burial is planned at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI. Details to follow.
