Loving brother and uncle

Benjamin J. “Benny” Morse, 72, of Stamford, CT, has passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Anastasia (Waterman) Morse, who predeceased him on April 6, 2021 at the age of 67.

Benny was born on March 21, 1953 in Stamford, and in 1971 he graduated from Rippowam High School. Later that same year, he married he married Anastasia Waterman, and in 2020 they celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. They were just 5 months short of their 50th anniversary before Anastasia’s untimely death.

Benny enjoyed reading, watching tv shows, and smoking cigars. You would think that he lived on his porch, because you would always find him there smoking a cigar, no matter the time of day. And there would always be a empty bottle of vodka besides him!

Benny is survived by his loving daughter Virginia Perez, and her husband Daniel of Ridgefield, CT. He will also be dearly missed by his twin sister Elizabeth Marion Morse of Winsted, and by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Benny’s life will be held on November 9, 2025 at Anchor Health in Stamford from 10am to 3pm. Burial will be followed in St. John Cemetery next to his beloved wife.
