A loving wife, mother, sister and Meem

Born February 20, 1946, Barbara was the oldest of 6 children born to Chester and Gladys Rhoades. Barbara met her husband Chuck Largent in Delaware where she grew up. His career in the Air Force took them to Denver, CO where she started her life as a mom raising their two sons, Lee and Mark. Barbara moved to the Apple Valley area in 1979 where she made many life long friends. She considered herself lucky to be involved in her children's lives through school and community sports. She provided a loving home to numerous pets. She enjoyed visits to her family out east, cooking, traveling, and sewing. Watching the wildlife in the yard of her Apple Valley home brought her much joy in her later years.

She had the great fortune of watching her grandchildren grow up and start families of their own. Family gathering weren't complete without Meem bringing Dilly bars to share.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, husband, and son Mark. She is survived by her son Lee Largent (Jayne) of Burnsville, MN; daughter-in-law Tate Largent of Apple Valley, MN; brother Glen Rhoades (Jayne) of Dover, DE; sisters Judy Robinson (John) of Lewes, DE and Joyce Franks (Walt) of Fenwick Island, DE; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
