About Barb

Born on February 26th, 1960, to Orla and Clarence Elsen of St. Anthony, MN. Barb first attended school at St. Charles Borromeo, graduating from St. Anthony Senior High School. While attending high school in St. Anthony, Barb enjoyed being a member of the Student Treasury and traveling with the marching band. Barb remained connected with her high school class all throughout her life with her involvement as treasurer for the reunion committee. Barb very much enjoyed every reunion to re-connect with high school friends.

After school, Barb enjoyed a long career as a dedicated payroll professional for Heinrich Envelope, Carlson Companies, Lyman Lumber and PayChex/Doherty. In Barb's free-time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching her children and grandchildren play sports, watching the Food Network and HGTV and, most importantly, spending time with family. Barb loved holiday traditions whether it was painting Easter eggs with her loved ones, setting up George, the Halloween Pumpkin, with her grandchildren or building sugar cube houses with her children. The one love she did not share was her fear of heights or snakes.

Barb got along with everyone she came in contact with and will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting her.
