Barbara “Barb” Anne Kurth, 80, of Bemidji, MN died Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Barb (Michaud) Kurth was born on July 11, 1942 in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, to Leo and Ellen (Wright) Michaud. After graduating high school, Barb met William "Bill" Kurth and in March of 1962 they were married. After they were married, they relocated from the East coast to Wisconsin, where Barb lived until the late 90's, when she relocated to northern MN and made Bemidji, and eventually, Baker Park her home.

In 1984, Barb went to college and got her degree in accounting. Barb's career spanned a number of different occupations ranging from secretarial and accounting to data entry and finally bookkeeping.

Barb had a love for working with her hands, and after retiring she was an avid crafter, making many items for craft shows and doing special projects for family and friends. If you knew Barb, you knew she crafted!

Barb is survived by an older brother, Alex (Joan) Michaud, her son Brian (Karen) Kurth and daughter Wendy Brown. Barb is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Barb was preceded in death by both her parents, her sister Jean (Eugene) Jarvais, and her Great Grandson, Marsean.
