A loving son, brother and friend

Austin James Ward, 38, passed away on October 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 19, 1986, in Houston, Texas, to Ken and Cyndi (Brownhill) Ward. Austin graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2005 and went on to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he obtained a BBA in Finance. He later earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Austin enjoyed a successful career as a corporate finance professional and had a passion for cheering on his Houston Texans. His interests included fishing, biking, skiing, and spending quality time with his loved ones. He is survived by his parents, Ken and Cyndi Ward; his brothers, Adam Ward (wife Araceli), Mark Winchester Ward (wife Carolyn); his sisters, Lena Henry (husband Grant), Samantha Ward, and Missy Knight (husband Chris); along with nine cherished nieces and nephews.

Austin was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be hosted by the family to honor his memory.
