Austin Jay Sip, 26, Park Rapids, MN passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born August 14, 1995 in Crookston, MN.

Austin was a kind and loving individual. He was always helping those in need, whether it was from mechanic work to funeral help. When Austin was younger he had started to work for Dr. Jane Churchill helping on her farm or sometimes at Beyond Juice. He became very close to Jane and Chad Vigen. Austin learned many things from both Jane and Chad. He was a jack of all trades.

He loved all his kids dearly and he would talk about them all the time. He would always be so happy to show pictures to his family of how much his kids were growing. He loved demo derbies and just about any activity that involved being outside during the summer. His favorite during winter was to ride snowmobiles. He was the joker of the family and always had a smile on his face.

Austin made special friends with those associated with HFTFN (Hope for The First Nations) and visited some of them in Illinois. He volunteered to help them help others on various projects in Ponsford.

He made a big impact on everyone and will be missed by all that knew him. He was a very special man.

He is survived by his mother, Lenora sip; father, Daniel (Kari) Sip; brothers, John Butcher (Geeziss French), Justin Butcher (Jamie Super), Thomas Goodman (Skyler Kennelly); sisters, Julaine Butcher, Morgan Goodmn-Beaupre (Stetson Hayes), Star Sip (Jonah Childrey), Abby Andreoff; children, Addyson Sip, Marissa Sip, Carson Schad, Gretta Schad, and Elyus Brothers of all; step children, Neveah Wehmas, Kaitlyn Atkinson, and Ryan Wehmas; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by grandmothers, Florence Goodman and Launie Wilson (Kliewer); brother, Robert Butcher Jr.; aunt, Maria Tollefson; cousins, Joshua Jones and Marcel Basswood.

Mike Swan is officiating services from 12:00-5:00 p.m. at Pine Point Old School in Ponsford, MN. Potluck dinner is at 2:00 p.m. Honorary Pallbearers are John Butcher, Thomas Goodman, Shawn Jones, Ben Jones, Antoine Jones, Levi Westbrook, Danny Keezer, Jeff Zeney, Derek Greenfeather Sr., Ryan Mowery, Shane Bumgarner, and Scott Nichols.
