Anthony (Tony) Steven Nash

life story

Tony, age 67, of Rosemont Minnesota passed away on January 16, 2026. He was born on April 27, 1958. He had a kind, caring, and gentle heart who was also very smart and funny.

He loved music and the Minnesota Twins. He played drums in a band at times throughout his life. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1977 where he then went to serve in the Navy from 1985 to 1988. He worked at Super America in Lakeville from 2006 to 2013 as well as Ace Hardware in Apple Valley from 2014 to 2024.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Leonard E. Nash and Jean Aleckson Nash.

Tony is survived by his brother Gregory Nash (Kim), sister Susan Nash Gentz (Chuck), nephew and nieces, Alexander Gentz, Jessica Maier (Kevin), Lauren Maben (Andy), and Gretchen Nash, and three great-nieces. He will be missed by family and special friends at Ole Piper and beyond. A private burial and family service will be held at Fort Snelling at a later date.
