Annalee's story

Annalee was born in River Falls, WI to Della (Bergh) Benson and Elmer Benson on August 7, 1928. She was married to Henry (Bud) Rose for 59 years. She is survived by children: Jeffrey Rose (Bonnie), Roger Rose (Linda), Roxanne Rick (Jeff) and grandchildren: Erika Rose, Amanda Hamilton (Travis), Kyle Rose, Melissa Wollak (Marc), Chris Rose (Sydnee), Jessica Rick (Jesse Alston), Alicia Bartek (Drew), Brianna Rick and great-grandchildren: Colton Wollak, Callum Wollak, Avery Hamilton, Theo Hamilton, Lincoln Rose, Henry Alston. Other family members include Ruthanne (Benson) White (Chuck), Gene (Linda) Kirk and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Annalee was raised in River Falls and attended the college campus school grades 1-8. She graduated from River Falls High School. She was proud to be one of 3 women who graduated in the class of 1950 from University of Wisconsin-Madison with an accounting degree.

Annalee always had a twinkle in her eye and was readily available to be part of any "fun committee." She loved her family and friends, bridge, card games, board games, puzzles, knitting, sewing, reading and vacations.

She was very proud of her family. Especially, her 8 grandkids and her 6 great-grandkids.

Annalee enjoyed spending 67 summers at a Cabin on Cedar Lake, WI. It was one of her "happy" places. Her family hosted many family gatherings there!

Annalee had a fulfilling career as a public accountant with Suby, Von Haden, and Associates in Madison, WI. After retiring she spent her winters in Tucson, AZ and summers at Cedar Lake. Both communities were "home" to her. She had many friends in each community.
