On Friday, September 30, 2022, Ann Susan Watkins, loving wife and mother of one, passed away at age sixty-eight. A creator at heart, Ann earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and spent many years as a high school chemistry teacher. She was her happiest educating and caring for children. While most called her Bobbi or Mrs. Watkins, her favorite name was “BB”.

BB was the nanny to her three grandchildren, Ida May, Olive and Frank. They spent their days cooking in the kitchen, making a mess at the craft table, and walking to story time at the nearby library. This ‘role of a lifetime’ landed BB in Perrysburg, OH with her husband, Jackson Watkins, son-in-law, Nicholas Randles, and daughter, Julia Randles. Together, the family of seven created lasting memories and redefined what it means to care for one another.

Bobbi is also survived by her mother, Lorraine Blakemore, and four brothers, Tom, Bill, Dave and Joel Blakemore. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the angels working at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. A celebration of life will be planned in the coming months.
