Angela Rene Shaw

life story

Angela was a loving GrandMother and animal lover.

Angela attended Kansas State University where she studied criminal psychology. She had a life long love of horses, and later in life, developed a love for cats. She also had a great sense of humor and could find a friend anywhere she went. She enjoyed listening to Hip-Hop music and told people “You’re never too old for Hip-Hop!” She was a strong supporter of racial equality.

She loved all of her grandchildren very much as well as her great granddaughter.

Angela had three children and many grandchildren as well as one great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ralph and Erline (Walker) Chapman, brothers Ralph, Jr. (Tim) and David, and her granddaughter Anisha.

She is survived by her sister Laurie (Alvin, TX); children Amber (Wausau, WI), Marshall (Amy) (Edgar, WI), and Shahpoor (Lawrence, KS); grandchildren Calen, Carnissa, Devin, Austin, Madelyn, Logan, Emersyn, Carlotta, Elijah, Averie, and Preston as well as a great granddaughter, Aurora.
