About Angel

Angel Irene Jones passed away peacefully at the age of 51, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her throughout her journey and ultimately gave her peace.

Angel was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 12, 1971, to Gary and Georgia (Greene) Daley. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis.

She was blessed with a large and loving family. On August 17, 1996, Angel married her best friend and the love of her life, Rudy Jones. God blessed their union with four sons.

Angel was a quiet soul with a beautiful smile. But, sometimes she could run hot. She loved with the same amount of fire -- that's who she was.

Angel was a committed member and deaconess with Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor B. Charvez Russell and First Lady Sharmaine Russell.

She had a passion to help those in need. She drove past a homeless man every day on her way to work and saw that he didn't have any shoes on his feet. Seeing the need, Angel gave a pair of her husband's brand new boots to this man. Angel also organized an event where she went out with blankets, hats and mittens to pass out to people who were riding the bus because they had no place to go.

Angel loved traveling with her family, especially on fishing trips. She was very talented and often spent her free time beading. She also had a love for native crafting and loved to go to Pow-Wow's.

Angel leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Rudy of Brooklyn Park, MN, sons, Christopher Williams of West St. Paul, MN, Karlon Jones of Minneapolis, MN, and Jaden and Isaiah Jones of Brooklyn Park, MN, father, Gary Daley Sr. of Coleraine, MN, Siblings: Gary Daley Jr. of Darwin, MN, Bershawn Madlock of Minneapolis, MN, Jeffrey Daley of Victoria, MN, Jack Daley of St. Paul, MN, and Amy and Kala Daley of Cambridge, MN.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Daly, brother, William Craig Daly, and her sister Shaharazon Medlock.

Pallbearers: Christopher Williams, Karlon Jones, Jaden Jones, Isaiah Jones, Emmanuel Williams and Quartez Williams
