Andrew D Tapp passed away on May17,2025.
Born in Ft. Thomas, Ky on October 3, 1979 Andy's first years were spent living in different states as part of a military family, including Georgia, Minnesota, Virginia and Alaska. Eventually he returned to Minnesota where he spent his school years in Circle Pines. He was confirmed at St. Mark Lutheran Church and graduated from Centennial High School. He attended college at NDSU and U of M Duluth where he was very active in the TKE fraternity. Eventually he earned his degree from Metro State University.
Andy enjoyed hunting, fishing, working and spending time with friends and family.
In 2008 he suffered from a TBI. His survival gave him a second chance at life. He faced many challenges and frustrations as well as the additional disability of epilepsy which left him unable to drive. Through it all he maintained a sense of humor.
Andy made friends wherever he went. Friendships were made in school, church, college and work that have lasted his lifetime.
Andy held many different jobs in his lifetime. His most recent employment was at Servion. He enjoyed his time there and the people he worked with.
Although Andy often questioned why he survived such a traumatic accident, he was always glad to be alive. He continued to connect with old friends and meet new ones. Live, laugh, love was his motto. Friends and family were always important to him.
His humor, love, loyalty, and spirituality were an inspiration to all.
