Alyce Marie Hobbs, 83, of Littlefork, Minnesota passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, MN.

Alyce was born on June 3, 1939 in Weatherford, Texas, the daughter of Willis Edwin and Mamie Lee (Harrison) Plumlee. She attended school in Greenwood and Millsap, Texas until the 8th grade and later received her GED.

She was united in marriage to Richard Wayne Hobbs on April 15, 1955 in Weatherford, Texas. She worked hard as a homemaker and mother most of her life. Richard had just enlisted in the US Army when they were married and she lived many places during his 20 year service career during the Korean and Vietnam Wars as an Army wife. She and Richard retired to Linford Township near Littlefork, MN.

She had a strong faith in Christ and tried to live her life to the fullest. She enjoyed farming, singing, housekeeping and people. She tried to show love to all as she believed strongly that God is Love! She was a member of the Lindford Christian Fellowship.

Alyce is survived by her children, Debora Sue Cole of Littlefork, MN, James Edward Hobbs of Littlefork, MN and Cory (Glenda) McMichael of Bandera, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Trysten Rayne Hobbs, Logan Travis Hobbs, Kiowa James Hobbs, Kaitlyn Leigh Hobbs and Natasha McMichael, all of Littlefork, MN; brother, Harrison (Donna) Plumlee of Grandbury, Texas; sister, Mary Nell Stokes of Queens Creek, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-love, Tiffany Leanne Hobbs.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wayne Hobbs; daughter, Christena Marie Hobbs; parents, Mamie Lee and Willis Plumlee; brother, Joe Bob Plumlee; and mother and father-in-law, Ita Mae and Leonard Hobbs.

Pastor Randy Barstad will be officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Lindford Cemetery of Littlefork, MN at a later date.
