About Allyson

Allyson Raye Cammauf was born on June 11, 1947 to Art and Lillian (Hillquist) Thomas in Tracy, MN. She grew up in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in the spring of 1965. Upon graduation she continued her education at Southwest State University where she earned a Bachelors degree in psychology.

She then moved to Memphis, TN where she worked as a manager for Northwest Airlines for 20+ years. After completing her career with Northwest she returned home to Marshall, MN to be closer to her family. Once back in Marshall she worked as a paraprofessional for the Marshall school system.

Allyson loved to travel and took many trips throughout her lifetime. One of her favorite places to travel was New York City. A highlight of her travels was bringing her granddaughters to NYC to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. Allyson was an avid reader and could often be found with a book. She also loved flowers and enjoyed spending time in her garden.

Allyson passed away unexpectedly at home on December 29, 2023.

She is survived by her children Mark (Mandy) Bosacker, granddaughter Jordan, great-grandchild Rudie; Monica Anderson, grandchildren Dalton, Mariah, Daniel; Sarah (Grant) Fischenich, grandchildren Lilli, Hatti, Hayden; siblings Cleone (Lloyd) Denzine, Cindy Moat, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Allyson is preceded in death by her parents Art and Lillian Thomas; infant daughter Samantha; her sisters Twyla Crouse and Joan Guerrieri.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Tracy, with a luncheon to follow the service.
