Adrian Preston Campbell

October 6, 1961 – December 3, 2024

Minneapolis, MN, USA

Adrian Preston Campbell (63) passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Adrian was born on October 6, 1961, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He joined the Army Reserve in 1979 and graduated from Richfield High School in 1980. Following his honorable discharge from the Army in 1986, he had many jobs but enjoyed his 10 years working for Northwest Airlines the most. Adrian took full advantage of the free flights, jetting off across the world as much as possible.

Adrian was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart. He was a special soul who faced many challenges through the years but was always willing to offer a hand to help a friend or family when he could. Later in life, he found joy in gardening and took great pride in his flowers. Adrian also loved music, especially classic rock. You could often hear him singing along to a song, even with his headphones on, not caring who was listening or that he was off key or missing lyrics.

While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. And although Adrian’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at Minnesota Hospice. Your kindness, dedication and support will never be forgotten. You truly made a difference, and we are forever grateful.

Adrian is survived by his father Wallace Campbell; stepmother Jane Campbell; son Nickolas Campbell (Wife Molly); granddaughter McKenzie Mae Campbell; siblings Heather Hagen, Ryan Campbell (wife Jessie), Morgan Campbell, stepsister Keeley Schmidt (husband Jamey), and stepbrother Kent Edwards; niece Stephanie Del Negro; great-niece Haisley Del Negro.

Adrian was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Edwards; stepfather Kirk Edwards; brother Jeffrey Campbell; paternal grandparents Blair and Doris Campbell; maternal grandparents Dave and Helen Hatch.
