About Adelyn

Miller, Adelyn (Ady) Louise age 20 of Eagan, passed away December 29, 2023. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Kent Wichmann and Gerald Miller. Survived by mother and father, Vicki and Chad Miller, brother, Blake (Asia) DelCastillo, nieces Zola and Jacquelyn DelCastillo, grandparents Connie and Doug Walter, Cindi Miller, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Adelyn was born in Burnsville, Minnesota and graduated from Burnsville Alternative High School, with the aspiration of becoming a Paramedic. Ady loved animals, especially her dog DWee and cat Mavrick. She had an adventurous spirit and loved being at the cabin swimming, fishing and tubing. Ady was blessed with two beautiful nieces and enjoyed the title of Auntie more than any other. She was always making people laugh… maybe a funny Halloween costume, a crazy face during a picture, a joke, prank or other crazy stunt.

As some of you know Adelyn suffered from the ugly disease of Addiction; these last six months she wanted help, tried and tried – again and again and really fought hard. Ady did not overdose, but her demon is what ultimately contributed to the senseless act that caused our loss, your loss, the worlds loss. Our sweet, spicy, tenacious girl is now free. Adelyn was loved by so many and impacted so many people’s lives throughout her short one; and she will continue to do so through her many gifts of organ donation.
