life story
A Man Bigger Than Life
Aaron passed away peacefully on September 24th at the age of 34 at his mothers home in Annandale, MN. Aaron touched many lives throughout his short time on earth.
Whether you knew him in the past or you knew him in the present, one thing remained constant, his genuine kindness towards others. Our son and our brother, a gentle soul that all were privileged to know.
Aaron "Hank"
Aaron was born on October 16th, 1986 in Melrose, MN to Julie Finken (Heiber). At the age of 3, Aaron was adopted by Tony Heiber (1961-2005). Together they moved as a family to Maple Grove, MN where Aaron attended Oak View Elementary School. After Aaron graduated from Maple Grove High School he was accepted into the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He graduated with honors in the spring of 2010.
Upon graduation, Aaron moved to Rochester, MN where he worked for KRAFT Foods. After KRAFT, he shifted his focus to software where he worked for companies including Oracle, Concur, and Microsoft.
His love and passion for food brought him to work at his mother's restaurant, Café Jules. Everyone who knew Aaron at the Café, can attest to that love of food. His knack for making toasts on various occasions and ability to make people feel like they were the only ones in the restaurant, was a gift he was known for.
Food wasn't Aaron's only passion. He loved playing & watching sports, boating, reading books, and visiting his brother Kyle in the mountains of Wyoming.
He is survived by mother, Julie Heiber, brother, Kyle Heiber, and sister Rachel Heiber. Preceded in death by father, Tony Heiber, grandma, Alice Finken, and best friend, Trevor Radde.
