About Aaron

Aaron James Stomberg, 37, of Blackduck, MN died on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Blackduck.

Aaron was born in Bemidji, MN on November 20, 1986 to Peter Stomberg, Sr. and Teri Shofner. He attended Blackduck Public Schools. During his years there he played baseball, softball, football, basketball, and enjoyed hanging out with his many friends. He went on to graduate in 2005. He was employed by FedEx for the past three years.

Aaron had a great passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and hanging out with his family and many, many friends. He had a way with words that could make anyone smile. Everyone around him loved him. If you saw him coming, you knew you were in for a good time. He also enjoyed doing challenges. One of his most memorable was the “hot-wing challenge”. He had a heart of gold and was always there when you needed him.

“Don’t ever look back at the “what could have been’s”, only forward where the future unfolds.”
