About Lily

Lily was born October 6, 2004, in Sterling, Colorado to parents Brent Dalrymple (Surrey, ND) and Krystal (Watts) Jones (Ft. Morgan, CO). Lily lived life with an amazing sense of humor and enjoyed making other people laugh. Her smile and laughter would light up any room. She loved being creative through drawing, writing and crocheting.

Lily was extremely proud to receive her high school diploma midway through her Junior year and was able to pursue her CNA certification and eventually her EMT license.

Lily fought a long health battle but did so with grace and courage. Lily remained steadfast in her beliefs and would often reassure family and friends that she was not scared of this day.

Lily is survived by her sister, Allie Dalrymple (Bagley, MN); brother, Austin Watts (Jacksonville, FL); aunts Barbie Stahley (Bagley, MN), Arla (Pete) Dolph (Ft. Morgan, CO) and Carol Pence (Glendale, AZ); grandparents Kim Halverson (Bagley, MN), John Dalrymple (Ft. Morgan, CO) Karin (Jeff) Rankin (Glendale, AZ) and numerous cousins as well as great aunts and uncles.

Lily is preceded in death by great grandparents Arlan and Etta Halverson (Log Lane Village, CO) and Carol Rankin (Glendale, AZ).

Recently, God asked me the same question in a new way, “and if I don't allow you to heal, if I never remove the pain, will you still trust me?”
