life story
Our Friend, Husband, Bonus Dad and Grandfather
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many good years.
About Ray....
Ray was born in Yugoslavia in 1934. He came to the USA in 1964 to live with his father in Waukegan, IL and learn his father's business as a junkyard dealer.
When is father passed away in 1983, He had to find other work.
He tried many different jobs throughout his life but the one he loved the most was working for Mueller Honda in Highland Park, IL as an Automotive Detailer.
He bought a home in Gurnee, IL with the intentions to fix it up...Well fix it up he did when he met the love of his life Gloria.
She took one look at it and her mind was spinning with what they could do to remodel it.
They spent many years remodeling and enjoying the house.
Ray decided it was time to retire and they moved to Winthrop Harbor, IL
They continued to enjoy their adventures...
Traveling to see family and friends across the country, boating and fishing, dancing which is how he met his wife Gloria, driving his Honda Goldwing motorcycle with sidecar, spending time with family and friends enjoying a laugh or two or even one of his many stories or adventures.
He is survived by his loving wife Gloria,
